Another Successful Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Drive

Thanks to all of you who participated in the annual
Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Drive.  Our baskets
were picked up early this morning by a member of
the School of Nursing's Delta Iota Chi and she
couldn't have been happier.

Thank you for bringing in the majority of items on our list and for purchasing one item for each basket.  Ann said it made her trip to the grocery store so much easier and she really appreciated that.

I would also like to thank all those who donated money so that turkeys and other items could be added to the baskets.

 Because of your generosity we collected more than $200 in cash.  As in past years the remaining funds will be used to purchase gifts for Winterfest.  Last year over 250 families attended this event and over 830 children received gifts and coats as well as resources for further community connections.

Thanks for making this years Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Drive the best year ever!
