Your Winterfest Donations 2015

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is over and we are speeding toward Christmas. But before we get to Christmas we need to stop and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Winterfest. This yearly celebration is a Parkland-Spanaway community event that inspires hope by connecting low-income families with gifts and resources during the holiday season.

Thanks to your generosity during the Thanksgiving Basket Drive, I was able to use the remaining funds to purchase the following gifts:
  • Skateboard
  • Basketball
  • Football
  • 3 Disney Princess Dolls
  • Minnion Art Kit
  • Bath and Body Gift Kits for Teen Boy & Girl
  • Educational Puppy Toy
If you would like a closer look at the toys you purchased please check out the Winterfest box at
the front of the library.

Winterfest serves local families by offering a place to share refreshments and a children’s fair with games, face painting, a visit with Santa, and crafts. Parents will have the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts for their children, connect with local resources, and access coats, socks, and personal hygiene items.
