I will be transitioning my ongoing projects to Travis Pagel, Classroom and Event Team Lead and Layne Nordgren, Director of Instructional Technology and User Support. They can provide support and assistance for the completion of projects.
Over the past 6 years PLU has allowed me to creatively pursue my passion for art, experiment with cutting edge technology, and develop the skills needed to accomplish just about anything. It has been a hard decision, but opportunities through the city, web based technologies and evolving production environment have made the possibility of my own media production company in Tacoma more tangible.
I would like to share one last Lunch and Learn to talk about my recent trip to Singapore, what I learned about the future of media production, how this factored into my decision to make a career change, and what are some of the implications of these changes for PLU.
Please come and join us on January 31st at 11:30am in the Learning Instruction Center B there will be food and drinks. I will present for 50 minutes and leave 10 minutes for question and answers.
I hope to see you there and if I do not it has been a pleasure working with all of my colleagues here at PLU and I wish you all well in the future.
Sincerely,
Nick Butler
