Hello All -
It's time again for the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Drive for local families in need.  As always I&TS would like to donate at 4 baskets.  A sign-up sheet to bring in food donations will be located in the staff lounge.  An envelope for money donations to purchase 4 laundry baskets, 4 Turkeys, and other items as necessary, will be circulating soon.  Each basket will include the following:

· A small frozen turkey or ham

· Instant dressing mix

· Canned vegetables (2-3 ea)      

· Yams or potatoes

· Cranberry sauce

· A foil turkey pan

· A type of dessert (no frozen pies please)

· Any other items you wish to add!

Each year the I&TS staff donates food and money for 4 baskets to support the School of Nursing's Delta Iota Chi Thanksgiving turkey basket drive.  Last year PLU donated 102 baskets to families in the Tacoma and surrounding areas.  This will be Delta Iota Chi's 15th annual Turkey Basket Drive and their goal is 130 baskets. Let's help make it a reality.
