Nice to meet you, Jon Eren

If you didn't get a chance to say hello to Jon Eren, our new Systems Analyst, last week at the Meet & Greet we held for him, shame on you. Just kidding, it's okay. It's okay because there is now a blog post that will serve as an introduction and thus allow you to say hello and perhaps engage in casual conversation..

First, here's what Jon looks like:

Jon comes to us from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Meyers, Florida. That is a long way. He had his car shipped here but it didn't arrive on time exactly, so he got some nice firsthand experience of our wonderful transit system (coming from Bellevue) in the interim.

You may not have guessed this, but Jon likes a bunch of things. For example, movies. Also, video games and television. I talked to him about Breaking Bad the other day and it turns out he likes that show, which I consider a mark in the pro column. He fly fishes, and from him I learned that Tacoma will be the home of the Pacific North West's first Bass Pro Shop.

So be sure to say hello to your new colleague Jon. Maybe say hello to him in Turkish, because he lived there for a couple of years.
