Why, yes, Lizz - I do relay!

My goofy, cancer-free dad
Yesterday Lizz posted about her friend John and how his journey with cancer motivated her to participate in Relay for Life and to form an I&TS Relay Team.

Her words really hit home, as cancer is the disease you get in my family.  I’ve lost my grandmother, two great aunts, and a cousin to it -- breast cancer, ovarian cancer, skin cancer...you name it, we've had it. I am so very thankful to the Universe that my closest cancer relative, my dad, is a survivor!  I could also relate to being on the scary road of cancer with friends - those people you choose to be part of your family, even though there is no blood connection.

Basically, cancer sucks and Relay for Life is one small step that we can take to actually ‘do something about it.’

I encourage you to consider joining Team I&TS.  A team of two is fine, but we’d love to add your name to our list.   After all, we could use a little more “T” in our team -- yes, I’m talking to you folks in the basement :)
