Jeanne Kohl-Welles is the Washington State Senator representing the 36th Legislative District, known for her work on predatory lending reforms, the Washington State's Consumer Protection Act, and good government reforms to prevent trade associations from diverting workers compensation funds into political campaigns. She will be speaking on the historical, cultural, and public policy aspects of human trafficking.
