A site over 120 years in the making

When a group of Scandinavian immigrants founded PLU in 1890, they could not have imaged how their history would be collected & shared a 121 years later.

Today the new Archives website provides a view into the work & experiences of those earlier members of the PLU community and connects users around the world to an exciting array of primary sources.

Kerstin Ringdahl's vision for the new site was to increase access to historical photos that highlight the various unique collections, as well as incorporating in more social media (yes, you can 'Like' them on Facebook.)

Good work to Kerstin, students Makara & Ayla, with some additional help from Darren Struthers, who put in time and effort on this project!
